Parliament and The House of Lords

On Tuesday some friends decided to go sit in on Parliament and I tagged along.  Our original plan was the House of Commons, but it being a longer wait, we settled on the shorter wait for the House of Lords instead.  My impressions: #1 The Parliament building is incredibly ornate and beautiful.  #2 I was really surprised at how many women were in the House of Lords.   #3 The clerks still wear white wigs!  Yay!!!
