The Banqueting House

Friday morning was our second "group excursion", to The Banqueting House.  (It's kind of stupid because I always learn so much history about all the places I'm going, but when it comes down to details, I feel like I'm learning too much to retain specifics, so by the time I get on here to blog I sometimes have to re-look up some of the information about the places I've been).  But anyway, it was built in the 1600s and used by royalty for entertaining, etc.  Mural canvas paintings are on the ceiling, and they're incredible.  Also Charles I was executed right outside which is pretty interesting.  It's still used for parties and stuff like that today.
